About this vintage design furniture

The mid-century Murano amber chandelier by Toni Zuccheri for VeArt Scorze Venezia was made in Italy in the 1970s. Veart was founded in 1965 by the collaboration of Sergio Biliotti and Ludovico Diaz de Santillana. A few years later, the master Diaz also became the artistic director of the famous Venini glassworks. After graduating in architecture in Venice, he began teaching at the university. He married Anna Venini, the daughter of Paolo, the founder of the Venini glass company. The company has worked with international artists and designers such as Toni Zuccheri, Umberto Riva, Tobia Scarpa and many others. VeArt produced blown art glass until the 1990s, when its brand was acquired and integrated by Artemide. The glass parts are made of thick blown Murano glass that has amazing colors. The lamp has the original label. The lamp requires three E14 bulbs (not included). Very good vintage condition. The total height of the chandelier is 76 cm.
