About this vintage design furniture
Vintage geometric sommerso murano glass hand-cut vases by Alessandro Mandruzzato style Flavio Poli made in Italy in the 1970s.
World-renowned as one of the most prolific and accomplished makers of Murano glass vases and objects, Flavio Poli has collaborated with some of Murano's most influential and experienced glassmakers to create timeless designer pieces. Of all his works, he was undoubtedly best known for the Sommerso, a style that was imitated by other manufacturers and is still very popular today. These are vases, ashtrays, paperweights, characterized by a combination of bright colors in contrasting tones that create a beautiful overall look.
The beautiful vase is made with visual balance and geometric allure. It will definitely become a center in a modern-style living room. It is very well-preserved, It represents the patina expected from a glass object over 50 years old. There are two small chips (please see photos).
