About this vintage design furniture
This professionally restored tubular writing desk was designed by Rudolf Vichr in the 1940s and was manufactured in the 1950s by the Kovona company in the former Czechoslovakia.
Original wood cleaned and varnished with high-gloss polyurethane, original chrome polished
Material: tubular, chrome-plated steel, slatted veneer plywood, drawer body made of solid spruce
Excellent condition, after professional renovation.

About the designer
Rudolf VICHR
Rudolf Vichr (1912-2001) was a Czech industrial designer known for his functional and elegant furniture creations. Born in Prague, he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he was influenced by the Bauhaus movement and modernist designs.
