A pair of large handmade wall lamps designed by Marcello Fantoni between the 1960s and 1970s.Much closer to an installation than a simple lamp.Poor materials but extremely expressive and material to both the touch and the eye.A semicircular structure made with hollow, perforated iron rods, to which is attached a rough and smooth amber glass plate, blocked by harpoons.Manifesto of the Brutalist artistic current represent two wonderful light sculptures.

Marcello FANTONI
Marcello Fantoni was an Italian ceramist and designer who was born in Florence in 1915 and died in 2011. He is best known for his ceramic creations, which have been widely exhibited in Italy and around the world.
