A smart, useful display cabinet by Herbert Gibbs - part of their Multi-Width range. In teak, the patina of which is warm and rich. With glass fronted sliding doors over a double cupboard which houses either a plate or record rack. Set on narrow tapers legs. About the designer
John HERBERT
John Herbert was a British industrial designer, born in 1929 and died in 2007. He studied at the Royal College of Art in London in the 1950s and began his career working for the English furniture manufacturer Ercol.
