Vintage sofa bed br02 by Martin Visser for 't Spectrum, 1960s

Martin Visser designed the br02 sofa bed in the 60s for ‘t Spectrum (the Netherlands). With a simple hand movement you can turn the sofa into a single bed. This Design Icon has a round chrome tubular frame. The sofa has been completely renovated and equipped with HR foam and upholstered with a nice quality wool fabric from Kvadrat Tonus 4 (Denmark). The armrest BA02 is upholstered with a matching black and white wool fabric – Kvadrat Hallingdal 65. The br02 sofa bed by Martin Visser is not only a Design Icon, but also a powerful example of Dutch Design from the 60s. This sofa bed has been a timeless design classic for over 60 years
