About this vintage design furniture

Vanità is a precious set composed by a wall mirror and a shelf finely realised by expert glass blowers in the heart of Murano in the early 40s. All the pieces are assembled on a solid cherry wood structure. This precious details were entirely realised according to Murano’s traditional techniques such as the curved sticks called "Torchon" and the graceful glass roses and leaves. In additional all the glasses have been finely engraved with a elegant floral motif. The gold touch is created with the use of precious 24 Kt gold sheets fused in the clear glass and applied on the wooden structure. The mirror and the shelf are two separate matching pieces that come in really good conditions (no chips or cracks at all). They were part of the entrance hall of a splendid attic in the city of Bergamo.
