Pair of vintage chromed metal armchairs Pk20 by Poul Kjaerholm for E. Kold Christensen, Denmark 1960

A beautiful pair of PK20 high back lounge chairs, designed by Poul Kjaerholm and manufactured by E. Kold Christensen in Denmark circa 1960.This very rare set is guaranteed to catch the eye of any design enthusiast. Each chair has a beautiful chrome plated metal base in an elegant curved shape. The seats are upholstered in a beautiful cognac leather, creating a beautiful contrast to the shiny material of the frame. The slightly backward sloping shape and low seat add to the seating experience. The chairs have the manufacturer's mark etched into the frame, as shown in the photos.Sold as a pair, the price above is for the set. The set is in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a nice patina.
