About this vintage design furniture

Set of four Gispen 106 chairs designed by W.H. Gispen for Gispen in 1940s. These stackable chairs are made for the T.U. Delft in the 1960s. Typically, is the metal chrome-plated tube above the backrest that can be used as a handle. Dimensions: h x w x d 82 x 46 x 52 cm and the seat height is 47 cm. The upholstery of two of the four chairs is still good. The upholstery of the other two chairs is in fair condition (see photos). Also one chair has a slightly different colour leatherette. The chairs can be reupholstered at an additional cost. Colour: blue and silver. Material: chromed metal, wood and artificial leather. Marked: TU Delft (see photo). Gispen catalogue 1949, page 2. The price is for the set as it is.
