About this vintage design furniture
Semi was designed in 1968 as the product of a creative partnership between Claire Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. Bonderup and Thorup wanted to produce a lamp with sharp, clean lines and a geometric shape. Their design was submitted to a competition at the School of Architecture and won the first prize. In the 1980s, the lamp was a great success and became the best-selling Danish design at the time and achieved global recognition and icon status. This is the original specimen produced by Fog og Morup. The lamp is in very good condition for its age, with slight signs of use. It has a new approx. 2 meter long cable. Dimensions: diameter: 47cm height: 23cm Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.
