Set of 4 vintage "sento" dining chairs by Jorgen Kastholm for Dauphin, Germany

Jorgen Kastholm designed the sento chair basicly for Dauphin Germany in several types with difference in backrest and seating. Designed for large audiences, conferences, presentation in large spaces. This is also why the chairs are easy, firm and even beautiful stackable. This set of 4 in matching colors make you happy to look at and at the same moment they are comfortable to sit on. It fits at any dining table and this is kind of an extra to the design of the sento with perferated trim. This perferated trim has been designed to the highest standards when it comes to fire resistance. Strang for a dining chair Yes it is.. but better to understand when the designer had in mind that large spaces filled with fabric chairs can lit up more quickly. This is important for temporary public places like conference rooms or fairs and events. There the fire risk is high so the perferated metal trim with special paint minimize the fire risks. This Sento perferated set is in good condition consistent with age and use.
