About this vintage design furniture
A very well kept "visor-light" for wall or ceiling mount in thin pine wood veneer made by Danish company Translandia. Translandia made a huge variation of pine veneer lights in Denmark at the same time as Hans-Agne Jakobsson made them at Ellysett in Markaryd, Sweden. This is one of their rare models and this version was only made by them. A very versatile light that can be placed in many ways and light up in all directions depending on the placement of the adjustable bent veneer sheets. Beautiful transparency displaying fine pine wood grain. Good condition but there is one small break on the inner edge of the smallest veneer sheet. The damage can only be seen if you spread the strips all the way apart. See close up photo. Standard E14 light bulb.
