About this vintage design furniture
In 1950, the chair was designed by the pair Charles & Ray Eames in collaboration with Zenith Plastics for the Museum of Modern Art’s low-cost Furniture design competition. A version of the side chair , which is still in production, proving that classic design never goes out of style. The back and seat of these chairs are made from a single piece of molded fiberglass, contoured to the shape of the human body. The chairs are still a bestseller to this day and can be found in homes and public spaces around the world. The chairs are available on a classic base with beige upholstery. Preserved in original condition, the upholstery has been refreshed.
