About this vintage design furniture
Classic chest of drawers (model 9af) with bureau attachment (model 22) from the 1950s based on a design by Georg Satink for WK Möbel from the WK living room series “Architect Satink”. This WK series was exhibited in the German pavilion at the 1958 World Exhibition in Brussels. Corpus in walnut & ash veneer with a book compartment, a hinged work surface, two small drawers, many small compartments, two doors, a shelf and tapered feet. Made in Germany. Designer: Georg Satink, Manufacturer: WK Möbel (branding inside). Good restored condition with slight signs of usage. Work surface height 74 cm
