About this vintage design furniture
An original, eye-catching bronze coffee table designed by J. Daste. A heavy bronze base with a solid glass top (faceted). The base has a nice patina with three penguins holding the glass top. Signed by J. Daste on the base. The penguins are very well executed by the sculptor J. Daste in the early 20th century in France. A real amazing centerpiece in very good condition. The design is now a classic, highly coveted by collectors worldwide. The detail and form are fantastic, catching the eye and becoming a topic of conversation.
