About this vintage design furniture
Labelled Mid-Century Sommerso glass vase designed by Flavio Poli and produced by Seguso Vetri d’Arte Glass (Murano, Italy) in the 1960s. ’’Sommerso’’ is a technique developed in Murano in the 1930s which became very popular in the 1950s60s. The result is a glass with contrasting colours that is commonly caused by a clear layer. Dimensions: height - 18 cm; length - 9 cm; depth - 6 cm. Colours: blue, green and clear. Original label still intact (can be removed very easily if needed). Very good vintage condition. One small scratch on one side.

Flavio POLI
Flavio Poli (1900-1984) was a renowned Italian designer, known for his work in glass. Born in Chioggia, near Venice, Poli studied at the Institute of Applied Arts in Venice, where he developed a passion for blown glass.
