About this vintage design furniture
Margarete Klöber designed this adjustable work chair in the 1930s. It has since been manufactured by her own company, Klöber GmbH, in Owingen, Germany. Polstergleich is the name of Klöber’s first swivel chair made of laminated beech wood, whose seat shell can be moved and adjusted in three dimensions. Four seat springs mounted under the seat allow movement in all directions: a true innovation with which Margarete Klöber was way ahead of her time. The chair can be rotated and the seat height can be adjusted continuously from 44 cm to 56 cm. In addition, the backrest can be adjusted both in height and depth with screw handles, depending on the height of the user.
