About this vintage design furniture
In 1972 Richard Sapper (Germany) designed the Tizio lamp for Artemide (Italy). The Tizio is one of the first halogen desk lamps. Due to the two pivot points and tiltable shade, you can direct the light of the Tizio lamp wherever you need it. The base has a diameter of 11 centimeters. The maximum height is 119 cm and the maximum width is 108 cm. The Tizio lamp is made of black metal and plastic. A famous and beautiful post-modern design.

Richard SAPPER
1932 - 2015Richard Sapper was a German industrial designer who was born in Munich in 1932 and died in Milan in 2015. After studying engineering in Munich, he worked for several design companies, including Mercedes-Benz and Siemens, before becoming an independent designer in the 1960s.
