About this vintage design furniture

Armchair model 2280 with coromandel wood arms, designed by the Gelderland design team (including Rob Parry) for the Dutch company Furniture industry Gelderland in 1959. This chair is beautiful in its simplicity; a thin metal frame with coromandel wood arms that seem to float. The condition is again very good with normal signs of use and wear for its age; it has been reupholstered in a beautiful green fabric and the connections have been checked. Dimensions: h x w x d 73 x 65 x 82 cm and the seat height is 38 cm. Materials: metal, wood, foam and fabric. Source: Dutch magazine Goed Wonen, 1959, 1960.
