They have been rewired and grounded, work perfectly, have been tested by an electrician and are ready to be installed. Each has new lamp holders and covers and new shades. Bulbs are included. These lamps can be used with a dimmer. It is possible to use these lamps in other countries, but it may be necessary to purchase different bulbs to suit the local electricity. These vintage sconces are neoclassical in style and reflect classic designs and traditional English casting techniques. The main features of the design are the classic amphora body, leaf shaped arms and hexagonal geometric pattern. This design would suit a range of interiors such as antique, traditional, Hollywood Regency and country. Each frame is made of polished solid brass and features a bulbous amphora-like back plate and two leaf scrolled arms. The hexagonal geometric theme is subtly repeated in the overall design. The arms are quality molded with great attention to detail. The front of each arm is hexagonal in cross-section and terminates in a hexagonal wicker-shaped drip tray leading to a socket. The new lamp holders are covered with removable cream coloured candle tubes. Each lamp has a new removable black silk shade with metallic gold trim and lining. The central part of each frame has a neoclassical influence with the amphora theme, subtly repeating the hexagonal shape of the arms and bobeches in half. Each frame has two holes for mounting the lamp on the wall.
