About this vintage design furniture
Rare adjustable Tivoli floor lamp designed by Floris Fiedeldij for Artimeta Soest in 1956. Beautiful in its simplicity. This floor lamp from the 50's is still in good condition with normal traces of use and wear; the shade has been repainted on the outside in the original colour (see photo) and the wiring has been checked by an electrician. Dimensions: (adjustable) h x w x d 165 (maximum) x 143 x 26 cm and the diameter of the hood is 27 cm. Materials: metal, aluminium and wood. Colour: black, white and yellow. Floris H. FIEDELDIJ
Floris H. Fiedeldij was a Dutch designer who was born on January 29, 1921 in Amsterdam and died on September 3, 2004 in Baarn, Netherlands. He is best known for his work in product design and graphic motifs, notably for the Royal Tichelaar Makkum brand of ceramics.
