About this vintage design furniture

Pair of armchairs in bentwood (beech) and pale green fabric, designed by Ludvik Volàk and published in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s by Drevopodnik Holesov. These chairs have been carefully restored and reupholstered and are in excellent condition. Luvik Volàk, who later took over the management of the Holesov company, is best known for the design of the iconic bentwood Claustra, one of the best-known Czech furniture designs abroad.
