About this vintage design furniture
In 1985 Wim Mulder started the production of this ‘SEDES’ chair, inspired by the french designer Jean Royère. A chair with a contemporary design that exactly matches the shape of the body and provides (sitting) support in four vital places: 1. in the lumbar cavity. The lumbar support promotes the correct pelvic tilt of the back. 2. on the seat. Because of the sophisticated shape of the seat, you always sit with a straight back. 3. It is precisely because of this that you only put stress on the hard sitting bones intended for that purpose. 4. at the feet. Firmly grounded, they automatically stand flat on the ground. At the same time, the backs of the knees are free from the seat, so that you do not suffer from pinching blood vessels on the hands and arms. They lie relaxed on the upward pointing armrests. In addition, this chair provides perfect support for your shoulder girdle and upper back. This chair is in good condition consistent with age and use.
