About this vintage design furniture
This coffee table, model "Excelsior", was designed by José Espinho and produced by Móveis Olaio, in Portugal, during the 1960’s. It has a simple design and the table top makes an elegant curve in the ends. It is made of mutene wood and was fully restored. In very good condition.

About the designer
José ESPINHO
José Espinho was a Portuguese designer born in 1926 and died in 1979. He studied at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Porto and began his career working as an industrial designer for the Vista Alegre Atlantis company, which specialized in porcelain production.
