About this vintage design furniture
Handsome and hard to find model designed by Kai Kristiansen. This range of cabinets was produced by Aksel Kjersgaard for around 10 years between the mid 50’s to mid 60’s. Now very much considered a Danish design classic, the simplistic yet elegant lines typify the best of Danish Modern. This is a lovely example offered in excellent condition. We have another example to make up a pair if needed, they would make excellent bedside tables.

About the designer
Juul KRISTENSEN
Juul Kristensen is a Danish industrial designer born in Copenhagen in 1937. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, graduating in industrial design in 1961.
