About this vintage design furniture
One of the icon of Polish mid-century design, beige armchair designed by Edmund Homa - Polish architect, industrial and interior design designer, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. The armchair has been manufactured by Goscicinska Furniture Factory in Poland in the 1960s. The structure is made of solid beech wood in a warm walnut color, finished with a semi matte varnish. The upholstery is made of a high quality fabric in warm beige color. The armchair has been professionally restored - both wood and upholstery - by specialist craftsmen to the highest quality using only traditional techniques and preserving the original character of the pieces. About the designer
Edmund HOMA
Edmund Homa is a Polish designer, born in 1973 in Wrocław, Poland. He graduated from the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts in 1998, where he studied painting and printmaking. He subsequently worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for various advertising agencies.
