Vintage teak cascade hanging lamp by Louis Kalff, Scandinavian 1960s

Vintage Scandinavian "Cascade" suspension lamp from the late 60s with 3 teak arms and 3 opaline lampshades designed by the designer, Louis Kalff, for Philips. The lamp is in excellent original condition with very slight signs of age. The lamp is in excellent original condition with very slight signs of age and wear and patina of time on the lampshades and cords (see photos.) When lit, it produces a warm and cozy light. The 3 opalines are also in excellent condition, with a minimum of traces of age in relation to time. The lamp has been tested and is working (see photos.) . The lengths of the cords are possibly adjustable, but the way they are currently positioned gives a balance to the whole, hence the "cascade" effect (see photos.). At the top of the wall bracket (aka "ceiling canopy"), there is a small hook to allow it to be hung from the ceiling. The original wall mount has a crack, but we decided to keep it, as it remains solid and stable, and has its original sticker that says "Phillips. Made In Holland", as well as another emblem, inside that says "Philips" (see picture of the sticker.). BONUS: Comes with 1 extra glass shade for a total of 4, in case it needs to be replaced in the future (including the selling price.). Works with standard B-22 bayonet bulbs, "flame-shaped" (not included).
