About this vintage design furniture
Set of 2 armchairs and modular sofa by Wolfgang Feierbach, 1960s This model FG 2001 in fiberglass edited by Dieter Rams for Wolfgang Feierbach Vitsoe is a collector's item. It is very rare to find them in such a state. Indeed the fiberglass hulls are really well preserved except for a few slight snags. So the sofa is modular. Indeed you can if you wish reduce it in 2 or 3 places. Comfort is there. A first layer of foam remains fixed in the fibre moulds. On top come goose feather cushions, soft for the back and firmer for the seat. When we found it, the fabric was beige but very stained and damaged. So we decided to completely re-paper it. The seat and backrest are removable and close with zippers. Grey washable fabric. The foams are stapled and the armrests glued. We have followed exactly the original procedure. The casters have all been dismantled and cleaned. They are therefore perfectly functional, allowing you to move your living room as you wish without any effort. In short, it's the kind of design we love at home. Beautiful, sleek, practical and comfortable at the same time. Dimensions: Seat height 40cm Backrest height 72cm (shell height 66cm) Armchair width: 87cm Width sofa: 280cm Depth sofa and armchairs 72cm
