About this vintage design furniture

Elegant sideboard typical for the midcentury era in Czechoslovakia. Designed by Jiri Jiroutek in 1960s, this U450 type sideboar has sliding doors. These are iconic for the designer who was the first one to combine classical wooden box with fresh and young material like fiberglass. Jiroutek´s sideboards also play with color combinations which is clearly visible here. The wooden construction has one shelve inside which is adjustable in hight. The sliding doors are in original yellow and cream color of strong fiberglass. They just the right amount of sparkle to this vintage item. The wooden finishes has been restored. Some minor wear on the colored parts. Excellent condition.
