About this vintage design furniture
Original wall clock from the 70s, designed by the German label Junghans, as part of its Astra Quarz line of clocks. It is the model 3686000 with a clear space-age influence and an attractive glazed glass effect. It is made of raw aluminium, plastic and Plexiglas. It has a circular structure, with the hours represented in the same geometric figure, bordered by a moulding with a transparent appearance and a rough touch, imitating the "ice" effect. Functional and in good aesthetic condition (just a small bump on the central aluminium circumference). It uses a Hermle Quartz 2100 mechanism, made in Germany, with one AA-LR6 battery (size M- 1.5v).
