About this vintage design furniture
Office armchair called "Rugby" by Gilbert Steiner and edited by Steiner in the 60s. Original label. Seat and backrest in royal blue leatherette. Black lacquered metal structure. Traces of wear according to the age and the use, especially the small scratches on the leatherette. Nice overall patina. Seat height: 45 cm

About the designer
Hugues STEINER
1926 - 1991Hugues Steiner was a French designer born in Mulhouse in 1933 and died in Paris in 2014. He studied at the Strasbourg School of Applied Arts, then worked as a graphic designer and art director in several advertising agencies in France and Switzerland.
