About this vintage design furniture

Mid-Century Modern period set of 4 wire chairs designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, 1950s, Netherlands. Model No.- SM05. Chrome wire chair with black leather cushions. At the time of its introduction in the mid-1950s one of the few European chairs to be manufactured entirely of steel wire. Cees Braakman clearly was inspired by the chair designs introduced in the early fifties by Herman Miller and Knoll. Very comfortable light-weight chairs, would match any type of interior very well.
