About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful pair of armchairs made in Norway in the middle of the century by Møller & Stokke in the 1940s. The armchairs are made of elm and have a new upholstery of Hallingdal beige wool cloth from the Gudbrandsdalen Uldvarefabrikk (wool factory). The back and seat parts are covered with brown leather, with brown leather buttons. Solid alm feet. Solid soft seat with good backward inclination. Small and beautiful model in good vintage condition Measures: 68 cmH x 74 cmD x 68 cmL and 37 cm seat height. Møller & Stokke was founded in 1932 in western Norway by Georg Stokke and Bjarne Møller. In 1956 the company changed its name to Stokke Møbler. The company is widely known for its production of the Trip Trap, MiniMax, Vipp and CombiStar children's chair. Later Stokke focused on furniture and equipment for children.
