About this vintage design furniture
The lamp was designed by Svend Middelboe in 1962 and manufactured by Nordisk Solar. It is a pearl of design not only in Denmark but also worldwide. The shadows of the individual lamps are arranged in a funnel shape towards the centre, so that the light is reflected at the top and bottom of the lamp. The reflection ensures an even distribution of light over the lamp surface. The lamp is in an average condition with some chips and discoloration. Dimensions : diameter 50cm height 30cm The lamp was thoroughly cleaned and a new 2-metre braided cable was installed. The cable can be replaced at any length. A canopy is attached to each lamp.
