About this vintage design furniture
Very nice set of 4 armchairs designed by Niels Koefoed, manufactured by Hornslet Mobelfabrik, Denmark 1960. The chairs are made of solid teak wood and they are newly upholstered in mint green fabric. The arms have very nice dovetail connections at the fronts. Some of the arms are professionally repaired on the underside, hardly visible if even. Very nice set of chairs, very comfortable too. Priced and sold in a set of 4. As all of our upholstered pieces, these armchairs can also be newly upholstered with any fabric you prefer. About the designer
Niels KOEFOED
Koefoed is the name of a Danish design company founded in 1958 by Koefoed Larsen and his wife, Hanne Kjærholm. Koefoed Larsen, born in 1926 in Hobro, Denmark, studied carpentry and design at the Copenhagen School of Design.
