About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful and rare Scandinavian two-headed Trava floor lamp designed by Swedish designer Carl Thore and produced by Swedish manufacturer Granhaga Metallindustri. This lamp is part of the so-called "Trava" series, a series of lamps composed of stacked shades of different colors.This edition has two characteristic aluminum caps, with a red and white lacquered interior. The shades are adjustable in height on chrome rods and the lamp has a sturdy natural stone base.The lamp provides atmospheric, warm light and is in neat vintage condition with minimal signs of use and some minor oxidation. The lamp has been rewired with black wires and new switches.

Carl THORE
Carl THORE was a Swedish designer born in 1917 and died in 2007. He is best known for his glass lighting designs, notably for Flygsfors Glasbruk, for whom he worked from 1947 to 1959.
