About this vintage design furniture

Description: Both stylish and functional this wonderful modular shelving system was designed by Robert Heal in the mid 20th century for British furniture makers Staples of Cricklewood in London. The sought after design consists of three bays of modular shelving that can be set up in various different configurations. The setup consists of a cupboard box with a sliding door, a chest of four drawers, a single desk drawer and five shelves. Each module is adjustable in position, mounted on golden bars that affix to the ’ladders’. This is a wonderfully designed and iconic piece of British mid-century furniture that is no longer in production.
