About this vintage design furniture
Rare G Plan teak and afromosia AstroSpider coffee table, with clear glass insert. Designed by Victor Wilkins for G Plan. The AstroSpider was originally described as an occasional table. Fewer of these coffee tables were produced, hence they are harder to find, especially in this kind of condition. Made in the UK, circa 1970s. Condition: Very good.

About the designer
Victor B. WILKINS
Charles Victor Wilkins (1893-1969) was an American industrial designer known for his work in the 1920s and 1930s. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and studied at the Art Students League of New York and the New York School of Fine and Applied Art.
