About this vintage design furniture
A magnificent set of 6 dining room chairs model 3200 from the 1960s by Frederik Sieck. This design certainly has its roots in Japanese design through the curved shape of the backrest and the narrow, slender legs, which are further enhanced by the round upholstered seat. In addition, the Danish origin of this model is reflected in the materials used and the cross-shaped shape of the legs. The chair is therefore an interesting exercise in a Japanese-Danish approach to design. The overall result is astonishing. It is a very elegant and stylish chair, without compromising on comfort and quality of construction. They feature a chrome-plated steel frame with a curved teak backrest and round vinyl-upholstered seats. This specific set of chairs is characterised by a grey lacquered backrest and a cherry red Kvadrat Tonus fabric that has been upholstered as such in a later stage. The original Fritz Hansen stickers are still visible on the frame, certifying their authenticity. Chrome frames show some corrosion and signs of use. Upholstery and backrest will be treated with care. The assembly is solid and in good condition for use.
