About this vintage design furniture
Armchair model CH34 or "Yoke" chair, designed by Hans J. Wegner and manufactured by Carl Hansen & Son, Denmark, 1959. Rare early edition of an iconic Wegner design in perfect original condition. This chair model CH34 has only been in production from 1959 until 1964. The rotating backrest makes this chair highly comfortable and suitable as an everyday desk chair. Solid oak frame and original soft black leather with great patina. Beautiful detailing. Signed with manufacturers’ stamp at the underside of the seat. Measures: H 73 cm x W 63 cm x D 45 cm.
