About this vintage design furniture
Sculptural pair of lounge chairs metal and fabric, designed by Augusto Bozzi for Saporiti, Italy, 1954. The delicately designed frame is made of black coated metal with elegant brass details. The shell is wide and sculptural and very comfortable. Elegant detail of this design is the metal frame which leads up to the back of the chair towards a beautiful brass button. The architectural frame emphasizes the open look of these chairs. The chairs have been reupholstered with a beautiful pale ocre-gray fabric. The graphic fabric is a melange of pale ocre and grey which makes the color look different from every side, and depending the light, creating a beautiful depth. Hand-stitched. The chairs are very comfortable and are both marked with manufacturers label on the frame.
