About this vintage design furniture
These vintage chairs were designed in Norway in 1984 by Torstein Nilsen for Westnofa. The chairs are of very luxury and high quality and made of natural oak. The individual legs of the ‘fan form’ in the backrest of the chair are connected to eachother with solid wooden balls. Chairs with a beautiful sculptural shape and this design is a steady example of scandinavian modernism, the Memphis Group and architectural post-modernism. A chair, but just pieces of art that you can also sit on. And maybe a bit unexpected but they are also very comfortable with their slightly curved ergonomic back and fine seat.
