intage two-seater sofa designed by the famous Danish designer duo Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Daverkosen. This model 451 features a typical 1950’s Danish design, a lovely combination of teak wood and rattan and new high-quality creme upholstery. By typical Danish design, the sofa combines a gorgeous design and maximum functionality: the sofa can easily be converted into a bed by folding out the teak and rattan sidesarmrests.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
