About this vintage design furniture
Directly from our private collection, a set of four dining chairs designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for a villa in Francavilla Fontana, near Brindisi, Italy, in the late 1960s. The form presents some solutions that can be found in other projects of Scarpa. The legs, in beech, with their double trestle structure, are reminiscent of the Cassina 121 model. The seat and backrest in plywood, upholstered in brick-colored leather, present an ergonomic shape that can be found in the projects of the Venetian spouses of the late 80's.Excellent condition.
