A beautiful high back armchair in leather and rosewood designed by Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen for Soren Willadsens in Denmark 1950’s. Beautiful lovely rich amber tones to the original patinated leather upholstery complemented nicely by the rosewood base. A striking design by Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen a prominent Danish designer from the period and made by Soren Willadsens a famous manufacturer who also produced work by Finn Juhl and Nanna Ditzel. About the designer
Kai LYNGFELDT LARSEN
Per and Annelise Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen are a Danish design couple famous for their work in the 1950s and 1960s. They founded their own design studio in 1946, which became known as "PAL". Their work was largely influenced by modern Scandinavian design, which emphasized simplicity, functionality and the natural beauty of materials.
