About this vintage design furniture

Chair designed by Josef Hoffmann in 1907 for the Fledermaus cabaret in Vienna, and manufactured by Wittman in the 30s. It is made of stained wood and features its original fabric upholstery. In good vintage condition, tear in the fabric.

Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956) was an Austrian designer and architect. He was born in Pirnitz in Moravia, now in the Czech Republic, and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
