About this vintage design furniture
Gelenkarmleuchte for wall mounting by Curt Fischer for the German lighting manufacturer Midgard from the 1930s. The metal body is lacquered with hammer finish in green metallic. The work fixture is pivotally mounted on the wall bracket and variably adjustable by the articulations of the arms and on the screen. At the top of the screen is a rotary switch and inside an E 27 lamp socket.

Curt Fischer (1890-1956) was a German industrial designer known for his work in the 1920s and 1930s. He studied at the Dresden School of Arts and Crafts and worked for various design companies, including the famous Meissen porcelain company.
