About this vintage design furniture
Original String Shelf designed in 1949 by Nils Strinning. The system consists of eight black metal ladders with five shelves, two magazine racks, two drawer elements and two containers. The surfaces are veneered in teak. This original String shelf is much better processed and of a better quality than many wall shelves that came on the market in the 50s 60s. In detail this means: – high quality veneer – 2 cm thick shelves made of blockboard, which prevent bending – Stable holders on the floors that compensate for slight unevenness – more stable ladders Drawer unit: W 80 cm, H 10 cm, D 30 cm Container: W 80 cm, H 43 cm, D 30 cm Shelves: W 80 cm, H 2 cm, D 30 cm
