About this vintage design furniture
Art Déco cigarette dispenser manufactured by Linsden Ware in 1925. Semicircular box that opens out to a full circle to offer its contents. Completely made of black bakelite. Marked to bottom Linsden Ware Made in England. Lit.: Tessa Clark, The Bakelite Style, Apple Press 1997, page 52). Very good condition, no damages. Dimensions: Height 3 34" (9.4 cm), inner height 2 910" (7.4 cm) for filterless cigarettes, width 6 12" (16.6 cm), depth 3 23" (9.3 cm), weight 480 gms.
