About this vintage design furniture
Aluminium "flower" floor lamp, frosted outside, matt grey inside, with movable petals. Designer Olivier Mourgue, publisher Disderot, circa 1960. Chrome-plated metal structure on which three aluminium "flower" diffusers are fixed. Three independent lights composed of aluminium petals fixed on two chromed metal wires. The flower lamps are equipped with a bulb with a silver plated cap which produces a reflected light and therefore a very nice quality lighting. Very good state of use but the main stem has a strongly pitted chrome in some places. Base 27 cm - petal width 32 cm.
